More details are coming to light about circumstances surrounding Chris Golightly’s dismissal from “American Idol’s” Top 24. Dream Projects Entertainment Chief Executive Lawrence Franklin released a statement Tuesday afternoon saying the orphaned contestant was signed to a contract with his company. In fact, Golightly had re-upped his commitment to the boy band Dream 5 in May 2009, two months before he tried out for “Idol” at the Rose Bowl.
