Join us for the results show tonight….by the end of the hour, we will have our final 4.
Here we go….We get a recap of last nights performances, and a few funny lines from Harry Connick Jr.
“Who is it going to be? The Nation has spoken. This……….is American Idol.”
32 Million Votes were Cast. Ryan also tells us that Lady Gaga and our mentor, Harry Connick Jr. will be performing tonight. Yay! Time for the tour pimpage.
Now we get entertained with the top 5 singing a Sinatra Medley……The Lip Syncing is B.A.D. Tonight. It’s like they don’t even pretend that they don’t lip sync anymore.
Ryan tells us that next weeks theme will be “Songs from the Cinema” and the mentor will be Jamie Foxx. Cool!
Ford Music video….Puppies. Cute. Casey is a waiter and Cool Lee Checks out Crystal. lol
Contestants are now seated and Ryan shows us a clip of what Tuesday’s meant for the contestants BEFORE Idol. Crystal changed diapers, Lee opened up at the paint store, and Aaron went to school. Now they tell us about Tuesday’s now.
Ryan asks Mike if he slept last night. He said yes, it doesn’t bother him till he sits on the seat at Idol. Crystal says she feels like one of the guys. They are family. Casey said he is nervous but his part is done. He gave 100%.
Dim the lights…
Lee Stands up first….He goes to the CENTER of the stage. Simon says that last night Lee started to believe in himself, that he could win.
Lee is SAFE.
Lady Gaga is up after the break. She was paid 250K for this performance.
Lady Gaga sings “Alejandro.” She’s a great entertainer. Knows how to put on a visual show. THAT’S what Idol is missing this year. No wonder they dropped something like 17% in the ratings this week.
Back to the results.
Crystal stands…..oooo….she needs to start a group by the piano
Mike is next. He stands on the opposite side of the stage….
Aaron stands with Mike.
Casey stands with Crystal.
Then Ryan says if Lee would stand with the safe group. Lee refuses.
MIKE AND AARON BOTTOM 2. WOW. My source said Mike at least bottom 2 and should be leaving….will it pan out?
Harry Connick Jr. sings “And I Love Her”. He is just great. Then we get another group lip sync. WOW. Then Harry tells us a cute story about the time he met Frank Sinatra.
ALSO, for the first time ever American Idol is asking our opinion on how to improve the show. They really must be worried. Here is the LINK.
The Person leaving tonight is AARON. So much for my source….
What do you all think about our top 4?

I think america got the top 4 correct I have been calling these 4 as the top since probably top 12… I am a huge big mike fan, because I am big time R&B lover. But I have a feeling time is very near for my guy. I love his voice and you can’t deny he has an amazing voice, but there are soo many big Mikes out there, he will do fine though after this show, he got out there now and people heard him so He will be on the radios in the near future.. I think Lee and Crystal will be the top 2. I don’t mind either one winning the show. I do think though that Lee should win or can use it more the crystal because of the fact that he doesnt have that much confidence in himself crystal knows she is good at what she does. its just my opinion
I thought casey should have gone. was quite dissapointed
I dont think that just because someone has an off night (like Casey) that they will be automatically booted off the next night. It was Aaron’s time to go. I think he should have been let go at least two or three weeks ago. He doesn’t have the talent, or charisma that say…David Archuletta had. Casey was definetly out of his element Tuesday night but I have seen him do quite well in past weeks. My predictions for next week: Big Mike. Week after: Casey. Lee and Crystal will be a toss up.
But the fact is…This is probably the worst season ever and none of these contestants are all that great.
HI!!! I am SO HAPPY that you posted on my board. Thank you! now we gotta get you to chat in the chat room during the show. xoxoxo
I think the right ones have survived, interesting, but not surprising, that 3 of them (not sure about Lee) are already pro or semi-pro.
Which of them would fare best with the round of interviews they have to do after winning? I know that’s nothing to do with their musical ability, but interesting to consider. Lee would struggle….”you know”! Mike seems the most articulate and fluent of the four. Crystal and Casey would get by, I guess.
