We haven’t even seen the top five perform yet, but we’re already looking ahead to next week’s episodes of American Idol. We now know our results show perform – Daughtry will return to the show with a special guest, Jon Bon Jovi. The performance was announced by Mix 104.1
This might lead you to believe the theme for next week will be rock music, but apparently Jon Bon Jovi let that one out of the bag weeks ago. Looks like we might have movie week when the top four take to the stage. No official confirmation on that yet, but we will know next week’s theme on Wednesday as usual.
Jon said one of the songs set to be performed is Blaze Of Glory. I’ve actually seen Daughtry join Bon Jovi on stage to perform this on tour when Daughty toured with them for Lost Highway back in 2008. No word yet on whether or not Daughtry will perform any of their hits.
I sure hope Daughtry performs some of his music.The other contestants need to remember you don’t have to come in first to be a winner. Daughtry has sold 5.3 million albms since his 4TH PLACE finish in season 5, coming in only behind Kelly Clarkson who sold 10.4 million since her SEASON 1 WIN and Carrie Underwood who sold 10.5 million since her SEASON 4 WIN for a 4th place finisher that is saying something!!
