Boy, this week sure was a bazillion times better than last week, huh? I have hope for this season, after all. I do have to agree, that the girls seem to be well above the guys at this point. And three girls, Crystal Bowersox, Lilly Scott and Siobhan Magnus are at the very top of the pack. The fourth place girl is far, far down the list.I actually watched Siobhan’s performance about three times. First time I have re-watched a performance since Slow Ride in 2009. lol. She is very likable, very quirky, and can sing the heck out of a song.
Tonight we say goodbye to four more Idol hopefuls. Who has sung in the American Idol competition for the last time? Who is going home tonight??

I don’t know … Michelle & Didi are in that mix too. Seriously, Creed?!?! You GOT to be kidding me.
Todrick is definitely a talented kid, but Idol is not the right vehicle for him.
I still have hope that John will stay and wow the socks off of us next week.
I’ll keep this relatively brief (which, if you’ve read my other comments, is REALLY hard for me to do).

As I’ve said before, both Haeley and Tim have fanbases outside of VFTW that will keep them around longer than they have any right to be. Don’t shoot the messenger here, but I wouldn’t be shocked if one of them (if not both) makes the Top 12, or even the tour. If I’m Andrew Garcia, Katie Stevens and Didi Benami right now, I’m bloody terrified. While I don’t think any of these one-time front-runners will be in any danger of going home tonight, I would be seriously worried about next week. So far, none of them have connected with any of their live performances, which bears dire consequences if they don’t bring it next week.
Tim Urban needs to go along with Lacy and Haeley. The other guy is a toss up but will possibly be Jermaine.

Haeley shouldn’t even have made it to the top 24. If she is still around for top 12 it will be a huge turn-off for me. Pretty sure Jermaine will be packing his bags and his “onezees” (what?)tonight. It’s hard to listen to him sing but hearing him speak is even worse. Paige, Michelle, Lacey – just a matter of time. This week or next. Same goes for John, Todrick and possibly Tim now that Alex is getting it together and the teens may turn their attention to him.
All the men could go home as far as I’m concerned, and the show would do just fine with the girls’ group minus Haeley. Lacey could do a better job but she’s already wasted two major chances. I think she’s going home.

Look, we got rid of Tyler, Ashley, Joe and Janell last week with the above still being around. It is time, over the next two weeks, for all those people to go home so the competition can really start.
I think John has had his Anoop pass the first week and may get one again if two of Jermaine, Tim and Todrick go home. But I don’t hold much hope for him as Anoop shined his second week. John stunk it up worse than the first week.

Unfortunately, I think Haeley will be around for another week. I believe the girls going home will be: Lacey and Michelle. With regard to the guys, I think Todrick is going home, but am unsure who will join him. I think John may actually scrape by.
I also hope JP is right about the two guys.
