Not commenting much this season, however. Idol kinda jumped the shark for me with Adam. Since you really can't get much better than that - the way to go was different. And that's what I thought was up this season....until all of what's 'different' began to peel away. Who the hell's left? Crystal? I love her to pieces - but its obvious the girl's health hangs by a string. Believe me when I say I'm hoping like mad she makes it all the way through (or as far as the crazy voting will take her - after last week’s eliminations - nothing would surprise me). Who else? Well - Andrew showed some early promise - but his 'different' has faded into the ether. Michael Lynche (sp)? I like him....but interestingly outré he's not. So. Whom do we have left? Lots of vanilla. Not a huge fan of plain vanilla. Is there hope? Dunno. I do know I’m signing off if and when Crystal goes bye bye. Poor Alex. It's like they pistol whipped a puppy. Kid still sounds shell-shocked a week later. I'll miss him. He had a really cool tone to his voice - 'promise' as Kara (or who the hell ever) always says.
