I thought I would bring the spoiler list to the top of the page, as by tonight we will see a few make it, and by tomorrow night, we will have all of the top 24 contestants revealed. (For those of you that follow my site, you already have had them revealed for weeks now, though, lol). Anyway, I would love to know who you think is nearly guaranteed a spot in the top 10, and who will be the first four to go?
My thinking is the ONLY contestant guarantee a spot in the top 10 at this point is Andrew Garcia. Yes, he wasn’t the only one pimped, but he has the goods to back it up. He is the only one that was talked about after Hollywood round one.
I think that there has been pretty equal time for most of the contestants this year, which is actually pretty refreshing. The only ones to receive little to no screen time up until this point are Michelle Delamor, Paige Miles, and Jose Munoz. Will this hurt their chances? Odds are, that yes, it will. Last year’s winner, Kris Allen got little screen time prior to the top 24, but was included in the most popular group last year, White Chocolate, in Hollywood. This had fans take notice. I would like to refrain from picking a bottom 4 until I see if they actually show all of the top 24 tonight. With a 2 hour spectacular, they have the time.

I think Didi Benami and Katie Stevens are pretty close to sure bets too for the Top 12. So long as neither really mucks it up with song choice or a shoddy performance, I think they are probably in.
On another note, does anyone know if they are returning to the boys night and girls night format (and lose two semi-finalists from each per week) until the Top 12 or is it the (nightmare) format from last year (with three joining Top 12 per week and a wildcard show)?

i believe i read that they are going back to the boys and girls on seperate nights and then a seperate 3rd show to eliminate 2 boys and 2 girls.
the top 3 each week + wild cardpicks were okay back in the beginnging, but its not a good format these days!
i am anxious to find out if they really do eliminate Big Mike. i hope he stays…he shouldn’t have to suffer just because his DAD spilled the beans…AI has these “confidentiality rules” but they can’t expect contestants to not tell their family…family is inevitably going to know and his dad is an “adult” and Mike shouldn’t have to suffer for his dad’s actions!
He was NOT eliminated. He is in the top 24 and that will not change.
If Angela Martin really does not make it that is such a joke.. if you compare her auditions/performances to Katelyn who made it to the top 24 she is so much better…

Jermaine is so overrated and needs to stop oversinging. Michael is overrated too. I honestly only like 4 of the top 12 guys, and they are Aaron, Andrew, Casey and Tyler. The other 2 spots I would rather give them to girls and make the top 12 8 girls and 4 guys.

For the girls, I think Didi and Crystal is way above all the other girls, and it would take them to suck big time to be eliminated this early. Katie Stevens has a fighting chance, she’s been shown on every episode of Hollywood round. Janell Wheeler too, because she has star power, despite mediocre vocals. I’m looking forward for breakthroughs from Ashley Rodriguez and Michelle Delamor. Sadly, Siobhan Magnus would be an early casualty, though if she improves on her facial expressions I would love to see her on the top 6 instead of those two.
As for the boys, Andrew Garcia would be a shoo-in the top 12. Lee would be the Elliot/Allen type of contestant for this batch (I hope). I think Big Mike and Jermaine is way overrated, I would love to see them eliminated before the top 12. Todrick Hall, if he stops being annoying, would get past the others as well.
And I do wish Angela made it on the top 24
Crystal Bowersox and Andrew Garcia have been my favorites from the first audition.
Andrew’s voice is amazing – he is a natural and Crystal is a professional – she can really, really sing – anyone who can do Janis justice is ok in my book and she can play the guitar as well as the harmonica – I am a sucker for a good harmonic player !
Didi Benami is good and she is gorgeous so she will go far- but I think there are other girls out there with better voices . She will be the Brooke White of this season – blonde, natural , decent voice and overly emotional .
I like Lilly Scott, too – her Ella Fitzgerald song was amazing. I wish I could buy that track now ! It seemed like an odd song choice but it really was amazing and she interpreted it so well .
Just can’t believe Jeff Goldford won’t make it…I hope this is wrong and he does make it tonight. Have my list handy….you are the only spoiler that listed Todrick Hall so yours must be the most reliable. btw if Howard Stern gets near AI, I am done watching forever!

And there will be no wildcard this year.
The only one that really stands out to me right now is Andrew Garcia. I hope he at least makes it to the top 10, but you never know how the votes will swing.
I must say that i hope Didi doesn’t make it very far. Her style of singing is getting SO old, and it was kind of a sneaky, kiss-ass move to sing Kara’s song.
