I am SOOOO happy that Mary Powers didn’t make it. That idiot was incredibly grating. She just wanted to control everybody. She thought because she was older she had some “in” with the judges and the older crowd. She loved to hear herself talk and really poured it on thick for the cameras. She just came across bitchy and loud…and while I know it’s a show that is set up by producers, where there’s smoke there’s fire. Just like I didn’t fall for the whole “humble” story of Katharine McPhee. The producers couldn’t hide her snobby “I’m to good to even bother trying” crap. I’m not really into this season, but after watching Mary Powers’ audition I just followed along to watch her fall. Glorious.

I “hope” you’re wrong as I do not see Hope Johnson anywhere on your lists and she definately was selected to Hollywood and should have gone through to at least the top 50 in my opinion.

This states that Michael Lynche has been cut from the Top 24 because his father told a local newspaper that his son was in the top 24 which was a breach of contract where contestants and their families are not to tell anyone until the show airs. Link:

azz: What Is the difference betweenbeing cut at top 50/chairs, or being cut at just top 50? does chairs mean they did a sing off? and does cut at top 50 mean they were cut directly in the judges mansion? wht is the differance? Im so sad Carmen and Angela are out. how could the judges do that to poor Angela again? Have they no heart?

AZZ, it is the same thing. Some people call it the top 50, some call it chairs, and some call it the Green Mile. It is all the same.

It’s a shame that Luke Shaffer was cut. After hearing his awesome songs on his Myspace page and then listening to the links of Aaron Kelly and Michael Lynche, I think a mistake was made by the judges

Yes. She was cut on Wed. of Hollywood week. Her Mom was passing some false rumors, but I can now confirm that she was cut.

The “Chair” episode is where the top 50 go to the mansion and ride up the elevator one at a time, sit in the wooden chair and are told if they made the top[ 24 or not. It is the Chair episode, or the Green Mile episode.
