Just in time for Halloween, the Glampire himself has loosed upon the ever-critical Interwebs the first single/title track from his debut album.
Described by Adam Lambert as “dance music with a glam-rock shuffle beat,” “For Your Entertainment” premiered on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show this morning and is currently streaming on Lambert’s official site.
While the cut may not show off the American Idol runner-up’s pipes as much as his reality stint did, it more than defined his style.
And ferocity…
“Do you know what you got into/Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do/Cause it’s about to get rough with you/I’m here for your entertainment,” he sings.
“Bet you thought that I was soft and sweet/You thought an angel swept you off your feet/ I’m about to turn up the heat/I’m here for your entertainment.”
“Let me entertain you til you scream,” he, well, screamed.
But despite the anticipation preceding his debut, no one was more excited than Lambert himself.
“Turn it up really loud, guys!” he implored listeners before the radio debut. “I know it’s really early, but turn it up!”

Long time no see. I am not going to deconstruct your posts. But, you do use the word rein. Rein = a check or restraint, so you do know what the purpose is. Or did you mean reign? Reign = dominating power or influence. I know you know the difference.
Do you prefer anarchy? Do you think your voice would be supreme in that situation? I prefer a civil society. And I thought you and I had many civil conversations and some great fun.

For Your Entertainment single is KICKASS AWESOME…I have barely stopped playing it since Friday morning.
Like Adam, it is fierce, fun, and smart. It is primarily BEAUTIFUL on my ears. THE VOCALS! Adam you can sang! Would be happy w/o any production. BUT Dr. Luke and Claude Kelley have made me believe. I will still wish for an unplugged version because Adam’s VOICE is once in a lifetime and I wanna hear it as much as possible. That said THE BEATS are to die for!!! THE LYRICS = HOT SEX I don’t care if you wanna be all existential. THIS is PRIMAL liveitlearnitloveit and slick.
So Music + Lyrics + Vocals + Delivery = EPIC WIN

LOVE FYE…at least most of the songs.
Favorite is “SOAKED” where I get to hear Adams vocals clearly (I have a thing about bands/instrumentals overtaking vocals, but thats just me). In fact I’d be happy with an entire Acapella CD! HEAVEN for sure with Adams voice.
FYE is pretty catchy, and will probably be a HUGE hit after its AMA rocket blast. Truthfully a bit apprehensive its upcoming video, but maybe cuz “dark” is not my thing. I prefer the sexy dancin Elvis, Brando, genre). But, I am sure it will be entertaining and Adam will be at his best. I love Time for Miracles video and Adams “look” there is fabulous.
