So eloquent! <3 <3
I Can’t wait for this interview…..woot woot
Adam’s makeup here is very light and his skin looks FLAWLESS. Well done Adam, whatever you are doing, keep doing it, you look amazing.
Congratulations on the best and by far, the classiest Adam interview I’ve seen yet!
I can’t wait to see it in it’s entirety. It showcases snippets of Adam’s amazing talent and range. The focus is on Adam as a real person with real feelings, rather than raw exploitation of him, as lesser entities have sadly done. His family are extraordinary people and amazing role models. Adam’s appeal has been raised even higher, if that’s at all possible.
Thanks a million, from a devoted Aussie Adam fan.
0o0o0 he’s gonna sing starlight on the tour, which is the 1 song i wanted to hear him do on the show. muse is hard to sing correctly though, hopefully there will be some videos of it once they’re done with the first few stops.
Well Bill, he must have heard you talking about his make up !! lol
I like him either way, and he has great judgement when to use it and when not too,,
I expect his 20/20 interview to be a bit more
” refined” or filtered, than his Rolling Stone interview…he knows when to pull back when needed….he has great judgement on all aspects of himself, the personal and the professional parts of his life……..his parents must be extremely proud and it is a testament of the way they raised him……and it also shows how why Adam will be respected in this business, because he shows respect…….hats off to his parents !!
Beyond Adam’s singing gift, he is a very intelligent man. He will do exceptional on 20/20 and well beyond because of this alone. Too many bafoons in the Entertainment world and the ones that have the smarts stand out (Merle Streep, Cherise Theron, Tom Hanks,Simon, Madonna etc.)
Adam’s most brilliant PR move to date was throwing the “bi-curious” thing out there. Now all those girls across the country can have the sexual fantasies. Maybe “they” can be the ones to finally bed Adam.
Smart.
So anyway, just wanted to say that Adam has now done every thing I suggested (and got so roundly booed for on this forum):
1) Got rid of the heavy base (much much better).
2) Cleared up his skin (remarkably – I could see no blemishes at all).
3) Lost some weight (his face def looks thinner).
4) Floated the “bi-curious” thing.
Just goes to show that when you are right about something, ignore the criticism and just keep being right and you will eventually be vindicated. Popularity of an opinion in no way is a measure of its correctness. Quite often, just the opposite is true. What great invention was ever presented without public opinion being that it was crazy and would never work?
I was giving Adam some tough love and he got it (lol, not that he has ever seen or read my posts
.
EXACTLY what I though too, Bill. Brilliant!
I thought Adam did fine in the interview, but 20/20 could not seem to get past the gay thing. It’s not as if they scooped it, nor is it the only thing that defines him. Time to move on.
As for his makeup, I myself prefer him clean scrubbed, the way he was when he came to audition. I love him with or without eyeliner, but all that base and spray bronzer that the AI makeup artists put on him was horrible. He is pale skinned with lots of freckles, and that dark bronzing doesn’t look right on him. I imagine that all that junk they used probably served to irritate his skin even more.
The shorter haircut does emphasize his fuller face, and he gained a few pounds on Idol. However, 185 is NOT overweight for a person who is 6’1″.
Well, Adam looked the best he has looked in the entire Idol season in this 20/20 interview.
I agree though that 20/20 seemed to have an almost purient interest in Adam’s sexuality. Like, when the interviewer asked leeringly, ‘so, are you gayyyyyy?” Icky.
Oh well, despite the fact that everyone who had eyes already knew Adam was gay, I have to admit, that there is something freeing about him actually coming out and saying it.
Here’s my one question though, why the hell has anyone asked Adam the radioactive question, “What do you think about gay marriage?”
The word is “prurient,” Bill. When you try to use fancy words, at least make sure to get them right.
He already stated in the RS article his support of gay marriage. They didn’t have to ask.
I agree about teh bi-cutious..very smart on Adam’s part..although , I do believe he is serious !! lol
Also, just noticed how much Adam’s mom, looks like this years Bachelorette..Jilllian !!…amazing…
I think Adam has the coolest parents..and I admired the way they love Adam ..which is the way all parents should be..unconditional LOVE !!!
I cannot imagine the parents that don’t…..quite sad

20/20 repeated the “gay question” because broadcast is a different medium, and not everyone frequents the internet or Rolling Stone magazine for their fodder. Now time to move on to other “all about Adam” stuff.
However, I do find it interesting from the RS interview that he was a virgin till 21. hmmmmmmm, pretty unusual for any, let alone such a sexy/sexual guy. I have my own theories on this — but not worth sharing.
But most interesting for all the one-on-one interviews with Adam, is not what he talks about but how he says it. Yes, he’s bright and witty, no doubt, but mostly he is just so casual, genuine and fully transparent. This is the kind of person that everyone wants to be but doesn’t have the guts to act on. I have a few friends like this and they are so refreshing — it just draws people in.
Adams non-affected personality is a rare trait that will keep him interesting, and bode him well for capturing all kinds of fans…all those who wish they were just like him.
