“American Idol” will be bringing back all four judges next season. A new report confirms that Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and the newest member Kara DioGuardi are all returning for Season 9.
Radar Online says that although the four-judge format was often problematic for the FOX reality show’s running time, the producers are keeping all the judges for the upcoming season.
It was highly speculated then that DioGuardi would not be coming back anymore, as having four judges in the show slowed down its pacing. She did not even know herself if she her contract would be renewed.
Even Abdul, who was with the show from day 1, had said she wasn’t sure if she would stay. Her and DioGuardi’s contracts are expected to be finalized in the next few weeks, the celebrity website said.
Yes, this idea was roundly hated by everyone, so why not bring it back?
