‘I’m not hot!’ the singer said when he was told he made People’s list
“American Idol’s” Adam Lambert recently revealed that he’s gay and single and now the rocker has scored himself a spot on People’s Hottest Bachelor’s list.
“Am I really?” the raven-haired singer asked Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell, who revealed the news. “I’m not hot!”
“How great is that though — to show how far you have come? Because that means you’re a bachelor — straight, gay — it’s just that you’re a good looking man,” O’Dell noted. “You’re attractive to many people.”
“That’s pretty cool. That’s really cool,” Lambert said once the news set in. “I think that attractiveness is a universal thing. It shouldn’t matter who your preference is. I mean, it’s like, (if) you think something is good-looking, you think it’s good-looking. What’s the difference?”
When asked if he thought being open with his sexuality is changing people’s minds, Lambert said for him, it’s just a bonus as he is focused on being an entertainer above all.
“I mean my goal is to just sing,” he laughed “I’m just putting on a show, you know, and if that’s how people feel about it then that’s really cool.”
Since the finale of “American Idol” last month, where Lambert finished as the runner-up to Kris Allen, a host of rumors have come about the San Diego 27-year-old. In addition to confirming questions about his sexual orientation, Lambert has also gone on record about the gossip that he’s set to front British rock superstar act Queen.
“(Brian May) expressed interest in possible collaborations in the future. We got along great. Roger Taylor and Brian May were class acts — gentlemen, really positive, inspirational, kind of forces on stage with Kris and I,” Lambert explained of the “Idol” season finale collaboration. “I think he expressed interest in maybe working on something in the future but it was never said, ‘Oh you’re going to be the new lead singer.’”
While Lambert has plenty to keep him busy — including his upcoming album, set for release this fall on RCA Records — he said he may branch out in other ways eventually

I was very disappointed though in the picture they selected for the magazine…he looks funky and cute not the sexy, gorgeous man that he is when he sings.

Adam Lambert oozes sexuality and IS hot. But it isn’t just his looks; he is smart, eloquent, gives props to other musicians, has a wonderful sense of humor, and the list goes on. Being “hot” is a composition of many attributes.
Can’t we please find someone else to write about, DAMN, 35 stories on the front page , and 17 are about this over-rated idol contestant. Who really cares about half the sh*t that’s written here. Why don’t you just sit back and enjoy the ride….you don’t have to listen to his music, attend his concerts, read articles about him or even look at his pictures if you don’t want, but writing negative things will not make your life more pleasant.

I agree with Diana…..I only read the stuff I want to read, and I love reading about ADAM and I read everything I can get my hands on !!!
I don’t however, read about the stuff that does NOT interest me….the Prostitute story for instance, ….I don’t care….so like Diana said, if it doesn’t interest you..don’t read it…and get use to it, these are the first of many articles about our dear ADAM for YEARS to come !!!

I never said I read any of the stories written about Adam, why would I. You can tell what the article is about by reading the headline. What I’m saying is, why do we need multiple stories on the same subject. And yes, I would like more stories on AI 9 auditions, what we can expect in the up coming season. No matter what all you fantards think…this guys star will fizzle out by next seasons idol, as soon as everyone finds a new contestant to obsess over.
