American Idol sensation Adam Lambert has a new song out. Released via iTunes, the single is called “Want” and is the first song from the album “On With The Show” which will be released later this summer.
Some information came out about the album in the press release that announced the single. The new release will feature 11 songs with 8 being cowritten by the American Idol runner-up.
Although I won’t buy it..I would prefer to wait until Adam releases his own sound….but you know what ??
I really really like this..I love his voice and if it was something he was OK about …, I Would buy it….but because of all the talk about it, and the way they are going about it…I won’t…..
but Adam’s voice is awesome.no matter what he sings.

This isn’t Adam’s real first single. This was a demo he sung for a record label several years ago that was NEVER mean to be Adam’s music. DO NOT BUY IT.

It just goes to show you,you cant trust just anyone in the music biz. Sad!
I like the melody; love his besutiful voice as usual. The song leaves something to be desired. Some of the lyrics are okay, but need to be expanded. The refrain is just plain ridiculous. This song is very obviously a demo, has not been mixed to the extent that it is completed, lacks layering, and seems to lack the rest of the story lyric wise. I won’t buy it, but I may try to get a free download. I am really waiting for the fall when a truly professional CD is released with the best producers, collaborative song writers, mixers, sound engineers, etc. And yes, the music business has never been known as anything but sleazy. It is obvious that until his success on Idol, this company had no intention of marketing his music.
it may be sleazy to wait until after he makes it big but it also makes sense from their point of view. and you cant say he didnt make any money because they paid him to do this and then it belonged to them, it was adams choice and he may not endorse it now since it’s old music but it’s his own fault if he’s not being paid for it now. no big deal though, as others have said it sounds very much like an unfinished song so i wouldnt expect to hear it on the radio much, if at all.
If Adam is pissed about it and would rather we ignore this thing, that’s good enough for me. I think HiFi is a bunch of opportunistic vultures trying to make a fast buck. And I guess they will, but they wont get any of my money. I’m waiting for the REAL debut album, thanks.
Well, sucks that HiFi is doing this, but that being said, I like the tune.
