Did Kris fans start buying the itunes after the ‘accidental’ release of the numbers midway through the show? His top 4 are songs he did after that snafu became public.

    Pay attention Folks :-)
there is a HUGE difference between the top 100 Itunes related to idol i.e. from idol contestant and the Top 100 Itunes i.e. from all downloaded tunes from ANY artist in current I-tunes chart. !! I know which one I’d rather be collecting the dosh from!

the difference is one list is top SONGS the other one is top ALBUMS
idol/itunes lists the songs by the Idol contestants as both albums AND songs so they can chart on both lists

Kris has higher ranking songs (7). Adam has 7, too, and Adam has the #2 album on iTunes after Eminem and ahead of Green Day. Both are KILLING it. I have Heartless at #2 and MW at #11, however. I had hoped Cook would chart hightr, b/c Permanent is my favorite song on his CD. I’m not sure why it hasn’t, but I bet it starts getting a TON of radio spins.

BTW, iTunes list updates every couple of hours…
