The show last night was fantastic! I loved almost everything about it. Could’ve done without Steve Martin, Bikini Girl & Tatiana, but the rest? Superb. I was worried about Adam with Kiss but it was handled beautifully. My favorite part of the show next to QUEEN! How did they keep THAT under wraps? Awesome duet on We Are the Champions. I’m glad I was prepared for that ending, otherwise I would have shattered.

Kris said after the show that Adam was the most talented guy he’s ever met. Yes he is, Kris.

It was Adam’s show last night. He looked & sounded incredible and I want more, more, more.

I’m quoting myself… because I was wrong! :O Just checked iTunes and BOTH Kris and Adam have released ‘No Boundaries’. I’ve purchased every Adam iTunes single since the beginning. Will this be the one I don’t buy? Nah… I can afford $1.29 to show my support for my favorite Idol of all time.

The nastygrams were coming from both sides. Just ignore the Internet noise and join in the joy that both Adam and Kris are experiencing now. The post-Idol hate messages will die down and become a distant memory.

Can’t wait to see the interviews… will the guys be on Larry King tomorrow?

How many did Adam have?But I’ve never seen such hatred in some of the comments towards Kris. Somone actually said that Kris and his wife will be split in a year. What sicko thinks that. I would have been happy with either one wining, both are great in their own ways. Adam has the killer voice and Kris can really make a song his own and relevant. And as much as the gay community cries out for tolerance, I would expect that Adam fans would be tolerant of this decision. This was not a gay decision, nor a religious right decision. And if your votes were based on this, then they were wasted. Good luck to BOTH KRIS AND ADAM.

MY GOD, how breathtaking was Adam’s outfit when he performed with KISS? It was stunning. And his glitter eyeliner… his eyes are incredible. And his voice! I was mesmerized. It’s my hope that Adam brings Glam Rock back to the U.S., ’cause it’ll be such a rush to witness. When he was singing next to Brian May I got chills. He is a presence. Wow, that was really, really great. Kris was terrific, too.

The show’s over, we don’t have to worry about voting or results shows or Kara or any more weekly reality show crap. We have lots of Adam Lambert to look forward to, however.

Congrats to both Kris and Adam for what feels like a co-win. Nice guys really do finish first.

Jrg – you can’t really think Adam fans didn’t vote hard. Come on, be real. As I feared this year ended up being a Ruben / Clay year. That year Kimberly Locke went out in 3rd place and her audience went over almost 100% to Ruben bringing him to the win – though Clay had been leading the season for weeks. The same happened this year.

Simon did stand for the announcement, but just for a very short time. I suspect Paula may have pulled him to his feet – she had her hand on his shoulder during the short time I saw him standing. I think he might have been standing when the trophy was given to Kris. But when the cameras panned to Simon, he wasn’t standing. Bad form on his part. He knew the cameras would be there, and he was barely looking at the stage and applauding.

Sally: Queen! OMG. I’ve hoped for that since the first moment I saw Adam. Even better, Adam and Kris with We are the Champions.Ok, I think that might be my favorite duet of the night with a very close second to Adam and Kiss.Da*mn – this is a really fun show!

My same sentiments, although my favorite second duet was Allison and Cyndi. ADAM certainly made KISS sound and look Hottt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of them were incredible with Carlos Santana. Congratulation Kris! So many levels of thoughts and feelings right now. I thought I would be so devastated if ADAM wasn’t validated with title of American Idol, when truth be told, most in the WORLD know what title he truly beholds, and were courageous with open hearts, to accept him as THE MOST consistent and talented ever on AI. Kris has this type of beautfil heart, and was able to to see this truth, and you can see how much he has been inspired with and celebrated along with ADAM all season. Surprisingly, I am not too crushed because I know ADAM got what he came for, and more. Kris truly did need this win more than ADAM. He will benefit by being given the equal attention to ensure his career flourishes by the Idol producers, and won’t be overshadowed by ADAM’s shadow. ADAM would not have it this way anyway, and will have his contract too. Kris is deserving of this title, but damn it still! ADAM was more deserving. Many firsts for me this season. First time I ever had cast a vote on AI, or any show ever. First time I had blogged comments for any show ever. (I still have never sent a fan any mail, or anything. This may be a first for that. We’ll see). First time I downloaded any software to auto vote. (DialIdol, Gizmo etc seemed more complicated than I had time for). Sorry ADAM and lovers! Aren’t I the casual voter and audience you were seeking this year AI? I have been so obsessed and fixated, and at last I can now return fully to my kids, husband, work, housework etc. I no longer have faith in AI and do feel I will go back to that passive viewer, so my time is not taken away from the things that are most important, since it won’t make a difference anyway. Ok, I guess I am feeling a little devastated still. I am 40+ and was asking my teen son how I can text vote faster. I do whole heartedly blame the flawed voting system of more than 1 vote per phone whether cell, landline, or computer generated vote. Oh well! Hell! One thing will get me through this tonight. (I am a secret lusting Kradam Madame, so I’m going to sign off now and seek a little therapy to get me though this night, on some skanky site. i think it’s truly unfair to diminish the win of a deserving contestant with such rhetoric…this country LOVES underdogs, this country was built on the backs of underdogs….kris was in the bottom ONCE as was adam, just because adam got more publicity doesn’t mean kris wasn’t getting votes, i think kris was the actual top vote getter for the past 4-5weeks…despite NO pimping…kris one, deserved to, if adam one he would have deserved it too.

The real winner will be in record sales and both will do well , but Adam will be the superstar !

Not the result any of us expected but, frankly, it doesn’t matter. Both will be strong and, 10 years from now, we will all be downloading Allison Iraheta’s latest album anyway.

Congratulations to both Adam and Kris. Adam should have won but they, and a lot of the rest of these people, are winners who will have good recording deals.

Um – ok. I think Adam deserved the win, but I’m ok with Kris. I think these were the best 2 once Allison went out. Kris won because fans voted for him. Simple as that. I’m already worried though that the religious right will take credit for it. Whatever.
