I have to admit, I was very disappointed when I heard KISS was going to perform with Adam. I have never been a KISS fan. Yet, I found myself loving every minute of it last night. Adam rocked it and the audience into the stratosphere. But it was the Queen number that gave me chills. Freddie Mercury must have been looking down on it with a smile. It WAS awesome! The crowd’s reaction for both numbers is all anyone needs, to know what kind of future Adam has ahead of him.
I usually don’t internet swear but everytime I see theses videos I think OMFG. I think if Adam had to pick between winning and singing with Queen, he probaly would of chosen Queen. What a tribute to him that they would come! Nothing against Kris but I’m pretty sure Adam was the draw for them. Being able to hear their songs being sung again the way they were meant to be performed. Brian May looked like he was having so much fun. What a treat for all of them. Like the above poster said Freddie for sure was smiling down on them!
I agree with sdj – if Queen really does give Adam an offer, thank God he didn’t win!
I hope Adam doesn’t go with Queen, at least not right off the bat. As big as Queen is, when he can be the identity of the future, why go with an identity already written in stone
Gene Simmons of Kiss thinks that Adam does not have rock quality.“Respectfully, I don’t think Adam is a rock singer. He sounds much more convincing singing ballads, and Broadway shows. His voice doesn’t seem to have a ‘rock quality.’ But, I’m sure he’s going to do just fine.”
Well, although I don’t like KISS, I really love Adam and Kiss performance. I belive I love it as I’m a huge Adam fan. I don’t care what Gene thinks about Adam, Adam would have a bright future for sure.
Take the job if Queen offers the job. Queen will not be touring forever. Maybe they are looking for a sendoff tribute for their band. A year out of your life to establish yourself with Queen then go off and do your own thing. I am sure they would be honored play with each other. I hope Queens sits on a few AI concerts (DC Hint Hint) That would be awesome. Queeen Rocks in my heart forever and Adam is a superstar in is own making. Need a tour guid in DC just hit my . Priavacy is number one
Although I thought Adam’s duet with KISS was awesome, I really don’t care what Gene Simmons thinks. He’s so full of himself. I’d be thrilled if Adam would do Broadway because I’m close enough to NYC and I love BW. But he wants to do Rock and that’s ok with me. He’s proven he can do anything.
As for the QUEEN performance – just OMG!!!
Gene Simmons….the ultimate authority. Apparently, Slash, Brian May, and others would not agree with him, and they have more street cred than Gene, an ex junior high teacher who figured out that his students and others would buy any kind of music if you offer them a gimmick, like dressing in disguise and spitting blood off a very long tongue. Wonder what Gene’s estimation of Freddie Mercury was?
I’m wondering were this quote came from? I read a quote in another article where Simmons said that Lambert could sing the $%%&# out of a song and was welcome to come out on tour with them to perform any time.

Lena, wth are you lying like that, shame on you!!!! get a life, maybe you need the real article in OK magazine you really got this one wrong, Gene Simmons loves Adam and also asked him to tour with him. Why do you think Kiss would ever!!!!!!! perform on AI if they didn’t know someone like Adam was so talented they want him to sing with them. I would like to know where you read this quote???
Adam Lambert would be awesome in either KISS or QUEEN but I also hope he puts out his own CD. This kid should get his own clothing line and model as well. He could sell shampoo, skin care, nail polish and guy liner are obvious. Loreal Hair Color for sure. But his shoes, jewlery and clothes are huge for kids and young adults. I’m just waiting for someone smart enough to start offering him underwear commercials on Time Square.
I really hope he just keeps the media out of his personal life. Be like Queen Latifia and when they ask you if you are gay laugh it off and say yes I’m very happy. It is no one’s business but your own. Anyone can support Human Rights you don’t have to be gay to do it so you can be a spokes-person for that campaign. And no – you don’t have to come out to be proud.

I read Gene’s comment, I think on his website? The way he explained it, Adam’s not right for Kiss, but would be for another type of rock band.
Adam will do his own thing regardless, imo!
Adam might do a few stints with Queen, but he wants to do his won album, with all sorts of elements. He wants to be a frontman. I wish I could get tickets to his tour already. I hope he gets to rock it out on the tour. At least he and Alli will do Slow Ride!
