I personally never found the movie, as a whole, remotely as good as all the hype around it. I mean, I liked it, but i’d never have any inclination to actually sit and watch it ever again.
That being said, the song itself is beautiful, and if this turns out to be a true spoiler, an amazing song choice for Kris. Especially if he keeps it completely stripped down, just him on acoustic guitar or piano, someone else on whichever he doesn’t play, plus maybe a string or two at most. It could easily cement him well ahead of everyone else but Adam (who, even as a gay man, i still don’t comprehend the attraction)

FABULOUS Kris! I loved this movie and the music. Such a moving song. Kris will get a great boost on this one.

I like this song and I am sure Puppies and Rainbows will make it all lovely and dreamy (which is it anyway so not far to go there). Will be hard to strip down as it is about a stripped down as you can get already. But that said he always does well when he keeps it all soft and sweet and melty. Which is fine song by song, but a whole album of that stuff would rock me right off to sleep.

This song was written as a duet. I think it could be rather monotonous and unemotional as a solo performance.
I’m so excited!!! He’s a friend of ours in Arkansas and we just heard. He knows what works for him, and I think this is really a great choice to get him back on the american idol front runners train.

Another site has posted that Adam will be singing “When Doves Cry.” If that’s true, it will be INSANELY awesome! But again….just a rumor!
