Paula Abdul was on the Grand Rapids radio station Star 105.7 (The Tommy and Brook show) and spoilled that Jamie Foxx will be this week’s surprise mentor for Rat Pack week. (So, That’s what Sy meant with the Foxx comment.)
The DJs asked Paula who she thinks will be in the final two and she initially said Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey. But, then kind of back tracked and said that any of the contestants could be in the Finalew with Adam (lol)
In the interview Paula states that Foxx is working on A SONG for Rat Pack Week with the Idols (A Song and not Two Songs). One song makes more sense. With the Foxx-Mentor clips as well as 5 songs, this hour is already eaten up. There’s absolutely no room for two ongs, but we shall see.

so we are loosing 5 performances because of jamie foxx? colour me distinctivly unimpressed. and i was really looking forward to double the adam tonight!
It will be nothing more than a movie plug for “The Soloist” –and his part playing the schizophrenic, Nathaniel Ayers violinist. He “plays” a musician–close enough–LOL
