Didn’t one of the Idol contestants just sing this on the show a couple of weeks ago? I think it’s someone who’s gone now, fancy that.
Adam totally blows them out of the water with this one! He rocks on everything.

No. No one sang this on season 8 of AI. I was hoping Anoop would have done this song during “songs from the cinema” week (from Batman Forever).

This is insane… His vocal control and pitch are absolutely amazing at the end of the song. He is someone who has perfected his craft and he deserves to win AI.

I only found out about Twitter a few weeks ago. And of course the person who’s always on it is Ryan. Twitter is made for Ryan, where he can talk like a 15 year old. He knows the language, all the horrible abbreviations. And also have the ego to assume people are interested in what you’ve got to say. It is as strange to me as picking up the phone now and dialing a number randomly and saying, “Hi, what are you doing for dinner tonight? Because I’m having a cup of tea, are you interested?” It’s just too odd.

That’s it?! don’t impress me by his performance, I like the original version, very predictable as usual screaming as always! correction! not all Adam performance is great. PEACE!
Definitely not a great performance from Adam, but then, that’s not the type of song he likes. It was ok, and the best aprt was he showed off that he can go below his upper register and still sound pretty good. As was pointed out, Gokey sang that song in Hollywood, and though I’m sure many will claim that Adam sung it better just because you like him better, the truth is that’s a song right in Gokey’s wheelhouse, and he sounds better then Adam does on that song. In the same vein, I don’t think Gokey could sing Tracks of my Tears or Mad World with the same effect Adam had on me.

It’s worth the wait
I love that song from Adam. I, like many here, am just into Adam’s sound. Love the quick crescendos. I know it is not everyone’s cup of tea. Steve Tyler, Janis Joplin, James Brown and on and on–not everyone loves that kind of sound. I do. Always have–always will. I think Adam does it the best of them all.
My nickname amongst friends and family is Marie Barone. Not because I look like her–but because I cook like her. Even I, every now and then, can make a flub. Expectations of perfection–not always able to produce. We are putting the bar for Adam unreasonably high, I think. He will not disappoint most of the time.
Adam fans–VOTE! Do not assume he is safe. This week or for the rest of the shows!
All the freaking out about how “the tide is turning” and “Adam is at risk” just cracks me up.
Folks, Adam is leading this thing by at least 2 to 1. Sure, vote for him like you always have, but this thing is already over. Now that they are singing multiple songs, Adam will shine even brighter. The chances that these other contestants to deliver TWO great songs every night? No.
All the buzz about Kris? Look at the posts on his AI Blog. He has less than 10% of Adam’s posts. The only online poll where Kris is even close to Adam is that EW mess and they are 24/7 in pimpage of Kris. In other words, Kris supporters read that blog just like Adam Supporters read this one.
I like Kris, but he won’t win.
Remember how last year everyone was freaking that David Cook was at risk and DA was gonna pull it out? Then DC wins by like 11′d million gazillion votes?
I loved his Prince song, I have never heard it and it was new and fresh for me….anyway, he could sing the phonebook and make it interesting, and I would never look at another pnonebook the same way …ever !! lol

Anyway, i just came across some article from a paper that i never read that ranks the best five performances of the season and gives Kris TWO spots, and Adam only one with Mad World. Matt (?) has one with So Small and Allison one with I cant make you love me. Its TRAVESTY let me tell ya. Lol. But seriously, it is, just that i don’t care (that much) any more. Drumming up a “close” finale will sell more papers i suppose.
But there’s no denying that Kris’ popularity is going up. Sigh.
Adamgasm is a GREAT word! How could she have left that out? Is it not PG enoug?
Bill, it REALLY isn’t over. That kind of thinking especially means it isn’t over. Kris is gaining a lot of momentum. Don’t take anything for granted. If you want Adam to win, and you don’t vote for him, it won’t happen (best examples: Daughtry and Archuleta).

No, sue is so right–this IS NOT over. Foresight! Last night of Idol. Ryan says, “And the winner is…” and it’s not Adam. And you didn’t bother to vote (or enough). Gives me hives to even think of this.

I’m happy for Chris…But…Adam was more deserving to win! I tried to vote for Adam Tuesday evening after the show and all I got were busy signals ( For four hours of the voting time ). Did anyone else have this problem? I’m just curious why that is. And the state of Arkansas can get off 38 million votes when I just got busy signals?! I think Adam will do better coming in second for the reasons he will be able to pick and choose now from all the many choices he will get from record companies and etc
