haha. funny Megan did great hahahahaha thats hilarious. agree Kris did great adam was awesome though and I really really like matt but I just couldn’t get into his rendition of vivala vida….wait I mean the fray song….. jk. I really do like Matt but my fav’ is Kris.
my faves for tonight go to:
1.) Kris-his version (which I have heard live multiple times) was the most original version of them all tonight.
2.) Adam- his performance overall was right up there with Kris’s and I really liked this version of the song just not the song itself… Adam’s range is ridiculous and while I believe it is good I tend to agree with my fiance when she says he is ridiculously good but I would only see him at broadway or buy a CD of him on Broadway
3.)Danny- While I caught myself getting feclemped (spelling?) at his performance (most likely geared at those who still feel for him and his loss) I didn’t think he was the best but def top three.
4.)Allison- the fact that I cannot get much to write about this performance should say why I placed her in the 4 spot and I wanted more from her but if anyone wants to point the Not really playing the guitar fingure this would be the time…. when you could hear her it was offbeat but the vocals were spot on.
5-7)scott then lil- just dont care for either contestants and I really don’t care for Lil’ at all she sounds the same regardless of what she is singing and scott just needs to sing in a piano bar or in the billy graham crusade (although I really like scott personally speaking).
8-9) don’t care for either of them but anoop and megan should both be gone if you look at it from the first time he didn’t make it through he should not be here now by the old rules and his talents will only go so far he has attempted upbeat twice now and failed miserably megan I am not even gonna write much because the fact that VFTW is supporting her should be the all in all reason why she should go…

Megan might not go this week, but she is at the bottom of Dial Idol and I think she will be in the bottom 3. I would say Overrated is from VFTW, but they like Adam (or Glambert, as they call him), so Overrated is on his trolling own.
You all need to be voting! If you are Kris or Danny fans (Kris, yes, Danny, um…), you are all set. Otherwise…

Megan is awful! If she makes it, I will write the producers and complain to them over and over again. Scott was good, but I hate to say this. He is only on the show because he’s blind. Sad, but true. Allison, Kris, and Adam are awesome. I want them in the final 3.
Will I still watch the show if Megan leaves this week? Yup, cause I still like others vocally.

I just voted about 300 times for Matt. I did it based only on previous performances. It certainly wasn’t based on tonight’s.

I can tell on both my HD tv and regular tv that his acne is terrible and everyone else I know has noticed but then again everyone else I knoe hates his singing but then again in Hotlanta we know music which I’m assuming most of ya’ll are from NY/LA or some small town that isn’t musicly inclined.

I have been saying for weeks now that Kris was going to surprise everyone..and that is exactly what he did tonight! I am so excited for him…and for myself because I get to own that KICK AWESOME version of “Ain’t No Sunshine.”
Adam is starting to wear me down. I didn’t want to like him, but after last week’s touching performance…I just can’t help it. I like the tamed down look…it’s easier for me to take him seriously like that.

I did feel bad for Matt though. He looked like he was seriously on the verge of tears. He couldn’t even talk to Ryan at the end…poor guy.

Still waiting for show to air here (later tonight), but saw download of Adam’s performance (ONLY reason I am even remotely interested in the show). I love it when people slam him as overindulgent – wtf do you think most of the performers who are successful are? Wallflowers. LOL, it is like a prerequisite – anyone seen performances by any major star of late (that is anyone who is not a Country and Western Snooze) – Bono comes to mind as someone who has always given huge dramatic performances (and before people jump on me I am not comparing Adam to Bono). Chris Martin is also a showman and to me that is where Adam fits, he is not just a singer he is a showman.
I’ve just heard all the performances again and only I repeat Kris’s and Danny’s. Can’t stand Adam’s version
though I love him.
BTW, I felt so badly for Matt tonight. He beat himself up about last week’s results, I bet, and as a result had a very poor performance. I hope he doesn’t end up in the bottom, b/c I do not think the judges will save him. I hate to say this, but Allison is probably going to be at the bottom, and I am not sure they will save her, either.
Matt and Anoop are falling while Kris continues to rise without any pimping whatsoever. Good for him.
LOL Sue you are correct after Adam’s performance I tend to get kinda sick, but tonight my ears were just pierced. I do respect others opinions, and if you like Adam’s voice that is a matter of personal prefrence but it is verging on factual that he is probably “technically” the only singer worse than William Hung.

Overrated, fair enough if you don’t like Adam’s tone of voice or performance but to say his voice is worse than William Hung just makes you look stupid. I find his tone a bit piercing sometimes and he’s not my favorite but he is undoubtably the best technical singer in the competition.
Kris absolutely killed it tonight. Good for him. I don’t really have a favorite yet, it varies week to week, but he’s starting to sneak in there.
Adam definitely hit some ‘shriekeration’, to quote Slezak, but at least it was entertaining.
Scott & Danny were better than I thought they’d be (can’t believe I’m saying that!) Gokey’s clearly cottoning on to the gap in the ‘country’ market this year! I don’t like him much but I’ll give him props for spotting that gap!
The rest were really not all that. Am especially disappointed in Allison who I usually love. Felt very sorry for Matt though. He looked crushed tonight.
REALLY hope Megan or Lil go home.
My ears were pierced cause that high pitch screaming the what seemed like drugged out judges consider singing put holes in my ears. By the way pierced ears aren’t as bad, it’s mainly the makeup and polish and feminine clothing that annoys me.
oh ok..well dont worry the rest will evolve..you know years and years ago, it was the men who wore makeup and stuff. also..remember the 80′s big haired bands and makeup…its just somethng that has been going on..it will continue..one day it will be just as common for men to wear eyeliner and nailpolish as it is for women..although i dont know why they men would want such a burden..being a woman its pretty much a must..and IT SUCKS!

As most of you know from my YouTube channel (theBestArts), I’m a major Adam fan. Adam once again did very well – but I have to admit that Kris Allen was incredible tonight. The two roommates did a great job closing out the show.
From the start:
Anoop – I agree with Randy: a good vocal but the wrong song. Anoop may be in the bottom 3, but I don’t think he’ll go yet.
Megan – I’ve liked her once or twice, but not tonight. She should go, but has the support of Vote for the Worst.
Danny – Sorry, this sounded just like every other song he’s ever performed. I don’t understand why he’s #1 on dialidol. Perhaps people are voting for him to save America from good singers. I’d love for Danny to wind up in the bottom 3, but it looks like he’s safe. I agree he shouldn’t go home yet.
Allison – Did better than the initial votes show. Judges should have paid attention to something other than her clothes. She may be in trouble, but I hope she won’t be voted off.
Scott – his best performance by far. I was ready to have him voted off before he sang, but he earned another week or two tonight.
Matt – perhaps his worst performance. Terrible song choice. Matt will be in the bottom three unless his fans really come through.
Lil – I was a fan initially, but I really didn’t like this. Not only old-fashioned, but no dynamics at all. For me, this was one of the worst of the night. Based on just this performance, Lil should be in the bottom 3. However, she may escape.
Adam – my boy did very well, as expected.
Kris – great, great job. He showed he’s serious about winning – and that he might even have a chance to do so.
I can’t get through to Allison either. She’s leading by so much in the raw votes section though – highest of this season so far
i would call skinny jeans feminine clothing, but hell, look at kings of leon or fall out boy..they are wearin the skinny jeans and eyeliner..so is all American rejects..its the fad..i agree its overrated..but Adam knows how to do it..i wish he’d have worked the cameras a little bit more..i wanted to hear him sing TO ME!

Though … people only need to interject their opinion ONCE usually … for us to get the point. It’s when they start repeating themselves over and over again, saying the same thing. You start to realize they’re probably a troll – perhaps even paid to post negative thoughts on the internets.
overrated is very hot and bothered over adam..he really tests our love and dedication for adam..its wokring..i love him more and more..overrated is always so insightful..i do enjoy reading his posts or him tryin to hold back his love for adam..its ever so comical!

As for tonight’s show… for me, it’s sort of a split decision between Adam and Kris. Both terrific, for different reasons. Too bad contestants can’t perform together on Idol, because I’d love to hear Kris on guitar, Adam singing lead, Kris and Allison on backing vocals. Yep, they are my picks for the Top 3, with Adam taking the prize.
Some of the others… I hate saying bad stuff about any contestant because I feel for them. I think they’re panicking a bit because they’re seeing people like Adam and Kris getting better each week and they are trying to stay in the competition. We thought Matt had learned from his Coldplay experiment that he just doesn’t have the chops to pull off a song like that. He keeps saying this is the kind of record he wants to do, but does he want people to BUY his record?
Megan, bless her, is having a great time. It’s kind of torture for us, though.
Anoop and Lil, to me, are trying to compete with the likes of Adam (who reinvents himself each week) and they’re just not up to the task. They need to stick with what they do best.
Allison… Flintstones outfit aside (c’mon judges, it wasn’t that bad…) was still very good. For some reason, the judges are double hard on her, and they prop Lil. I don’t get it. I’m hoping the teen vote comes through for her.
As for Danny, while I do enjoy his singing, it was same old, same old for me. But, that’s what he does best. He’s “mainstream” so he’s not going home soon.
I’m off to vote for the funky one…
Kris- First time I actually took notice of him. Smooth voice.
Adam – Not fond of the song, but his comfort, dancing and performance were great to watch. LOVE how he looked OOOOHHHH Baby Baby (rather than Kelly Osborne hair) …. Great outfit too. He seemed the most relaxed hes been, smiling and interacting, this was great. I do agree with some who say Adam screams, which I’m not as crazy over has when he just sings a high note. And, the touching thing isnt appropriate either. Though he can wiggle those hips all he wants!
Danny – Looked nice and did a great job. Really like his vocal tone.
Allison – Looked awful, didn’t sound great either. Hard to dress up someone who has no taste.
Scott- His sound isnt always bad, but the transitions are excruciating. Why doesn’t he just GO?
Lil- Waiting for her to come back, she is good.
That’s all –

I’m pretty certain Kris won’t be getting many gay votes, based on the following.
As per wikipedia and a visit to a number of other websites, including his own:
Kris is a “worship leader” at New Life Church, in Conway, AR. It was thru it that he made trips to a number of countries, while on a mission with Chi Alpha Campus Ministires, which are associated with the Assemblies of God church and the second largest Pentacostal group in the USA. They are VERY anti-gay.
I was unable to determine if the New Life Church is also affiliated with the AoG, but their views are similar.
Just that hes hot lol
