Here’s a few iTunes confessionals from Kris Allen and Adam Giraud.  I know that all the contestants hae done these, but it looks like Kradam is the only ones to have them posted at Youtube so far…

That’s because they were the two best tonight. (Oh, and they are roommates. :) )

I have the iTunes app and all of the Top 9 confessionals are there, but they just got uploaded today. Feh.

I loooooved Adam’s confessional from the top 10. I can 100% relate to what he was saying about being at a point in your life where you feel like you want more out of it. I am so glad he made the leap of faith and auditioned for AI!

Now that I like Kris ;) , I listened to his, too. What a humble guy! I’m glad he and Adam are roommates-they keep each other sane. :) I want to see them bothin the finale. I DO NOT WANT DANNY THERE. NOOO.

BTW, Adam’s Top 9 is hysterical.

I liked how Kris talked more about the others rather than himself. Shows that he really isn’t obsessed with himself and is very sociable and nice to everybody.

However, I do think that quality doesn’t really help because his fans don’t really get to know and connect to him.

Adam, I think, talks too much about himself. But he is being really smart about it because it probably fuels his fans a lot.

Has anyone else noticed that Adam sounds much “gayer” at some times than he does at other times?

For instance, in the first vid, his voice sounds only slightly gay. In the second vid, he has a clear “gay lisp”. You’ll notice that when he talks on stage (I know, rare), he doesn’t lisp or sound gay at all.

I noticed this also in some of Adam’s online vids. When he is singing at a gay club and pauses he speak, he sounds VERY gay. When he is at a hetero venue, not so much.

Anyway, doesn’t mean a thing, I just think it is interesting how his vocal inflections change from day to day.

of course it does..i love adam talkin about whatever..i think his fans just wanna get to know him..by the way i’ve come to the conclusion, i believe he likes women just as much as men. and i love his confessional it really lets us into his life a little bit more..

He sounds more GAY? I have no idea why that would matter, honestly. And I don’t hear it, and why would having a lisp make one more gay? I have a gay supervisor and the only reason I know it is because he mentions his boyfriend occasionally. There is nothing “feminine” about him, if that’s what you mean, Bill. I am not being snarky, I’m being honest.

Kris has said he needs to be less introverted, and I agree. The more confidence he gets, the more commanding he will be on stage. Adam is, therefore, the perfect roommate for him. :)

The one thing that concerns me about Adam right now, and maybe it is a comfort level thing or a must win thing–I don’t know–is that there was something a bit off about Adam (for me) last night. Usually, he seems really polite; last night I thought that he was playing a showman (best example: his kudos to the band, like, I am ONLY good b/c of them). I did not feel that was the case with other performances. I guess he was doing Disco!Adam, but it just felt a little weird to me. His vocals were, as always, amazing, but I didn’t enjoy the performance as much. It seemed a bit strained to me, like he was trying a little too hard, and he doesn’t need to. JMHO.
